01 / The opportunity

The work

We hire attorneys, not clock-watchers. You'll get your own caseload in your first week. No extended training period, no proving yourself for six months before we trust you to handle a file on your own. If you can litigate, we'll put cases in front of you and let you run them.

Your time is yours

When you close your laptop at the end of the day, you're done. That's not a slogan. It's how we operate.

No partner texting you at nine at night. Nobody treating a slow Tuesday like the ship's going down. We're not looking over your shoulder counting every hour you bill.

Your billable target is 28 hours a week. After that, we leave you to it. We care about the work getting done, not what your timesheet looks like minute to minute.

The one thing we ask is that you can be where the work needs you: court appearances, hearings, and the things that can't wait.

Compensation and benefits

$100k to $130k is the base, set by experience. On top of that: 10 days of PTO, 8 paid holidays, and health benefits.

Room to grow

Hardwick and Krauss standing together outdoors

This isn't a lateral move into someone else's operation. We're growing intentionally. The more you prove you can handle, the more responsibility and opportunity you'll get. You'll help shape how we practice and where the firm goes. How far you take it is up to you.

03 / The fit

Who this fits

This is for the attorney who wants to be trusted to do the job and left alone to do it well. You want actual cases now, not years from now.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to leave the monotony and bureaucracy of a larger firm and get in on the ground floor.

Who it doesn't fit

If you're looking for a formal training program or a comfortable role where you can coast, this won't be the right place.

We need you to be reliable, coachable, and ready to work.

What you'll need

  • You're barred in Florida.
  • You're comfortable in a courtroom, especially evidentiary hearings.
  • Court experience matters more to us than a family law background. If you can operate in a courtroom, we can teach you the practice area.
  • You can get to court on the Treasure Coast when a hearing hits the calendar. This is a local, in-person role.
